Well, this must be a surprise! I have a load of pages sketched, scanned and so on, not so many inked and toned/coloured, but I’ll be trickling them online steadily.

Apologies for the 2 week absence. That’s life though!

Its nice to have some of the places that have only appeared in Zombie Holiday start to appear in the comic.

Have you seen the tour of our Minecraft server? I’ve been recreating Anna’s mansion and a load of other stuff there, it might be slightly interesting!

Things here in Leeds are OK if anyone’s been wondering. My thoughts go out to the people in London and everywhere else this whole mess is happening. Lets hope things are back in order by tomorrow night.

OOooh, Melody in a mood? We’ve not seen that before. Hopefully it’s nice to see there’s more to her than crazy/happy/drunk. I keep end up drawing Sophie with the exact same expression. It works here at least.

There used to be reasons for some pages to be colour and others to be greyscale.. Now it’s just colour when I think it would make it a lot better and I can be bothered.. Oh well. This was very nearly colour, and again it’s pretty damn sketchy, so will likely get a polish eventually!

This one was (is? It’s not exactly finished) fun to draw. Lots of loose ends getting fixed up. Not a lot to report on the CMO front. Feeling refreshed after the week away.

I hope you’re having a good Summer! This is obviously a filler update, but it’s part of a bigger pic I’m working on, which when completed will have most of the cast hanging out on the beach.

There IS a new page though.. The late PAGE 16! It was really annoying knowing people were reading the archive and being faced with some of the temporary (or otherwise terrible) stuff that’s been sat there for years. There’s only a couple more that *need* replacing.. But here it is.. It was a bit strange drawing CMO in a way that would fit in with the early style, page layout and all!

Lexima being shady again. I loved colouring this page.. It’s got a lot more going on in it than my average layout.

I’m still tinkering around the site. Some of the ancient pages that needed redoing/were only supposed to be place-holders will be fixed up soon as well. I think that’s more important now we’re actually getting traffic again.. I cringe knowing people are starting  from the beginning and stumbling on some of those monstrosities. Oh well.

I’ve been redecorating! CMO’s also started advertising a little and using the various top-lists better. I haven’t decided on exactly which ones to use yet, but it’s nice to see the extra traffic. Talking head updates aren’t much fun really are they? Sorry! It made sense to update with these 4 panel ones over two weeks rather than having a “full page” like i usually might. It’s best to be regular I think. Its nice to get across how nuts/serious Lexima can be though. Here’s an alternate ending.

Shouldn’t come as a huge surprise that she’s still alive, but you’ll see it’s not quite that simple shortly. Hell, not to spoiler but she might’ve been better off dead given what happens to her and co. eventually.

This took longer than I’d like because i did it backwards for some godforsaken reason. I painted all the colour then did the inking.. Whyyyyyyy? I think it makes for a softer look but it also means I’m going to have to go back and clean a lot of stuff up..

Hell, that applies to a lot of this year’s pages anyway. I really need to spend a couple of days on a cleanup/finish the colouring sweep. Ugh.

Hey! Its another CMO! Hazel and Holly are fun to write as they’re sort of the same but not. Luckily when they’re not in uniform their taste in clothing is pretty different, so their development as individuals will be more clear.

Tried something new with the shading on this one but it might not be apparent. Ive still got to dive back into some of the old unfinished colourings.. I’ve also switched to upper case text recently, which I think makes it much easier to read.
