Francis Kershaw

“My life sucked. Everything was looking pretty boring until she turned up.”
From a typical working class family, never really got on well with his parents. A bit of a failure at school, he’s still quite popular in certain circles. As dramatic and dumb as he is, he never really causes much trouble. Goes to a lot of local gigs and clubs, looking to meet someone (he’s quite needy).
Nowhere near as cool as he’d like to think. He’s laughed at a lot, and is actually quite insecure. He makes no effort to hide his geekier side though, and hangs out almost exclusively with Sid.
Family: Francis’ father is a sleezy, corrupt cop. ([[Sgt. Kershaw]]) He’s never got on well with his dad, who had been separated from his mother for some years before she was killed ([[CMO11]]). He never saw eye to eye with his mother either, who was a charity worker with little time for him. He is an only child.
Friends: [[Sid]] has been Francis’ best friend since early childhood. They get up to all sorts of geeky hijinks. Francis met [[Melody]] when 15 and had a two year relationship with her which ended messily. ([[CMO39]]) Despite the break-up they now get on amicably.
Francis is a favourite of [[Ellie]]’s. He has an indifference and certain level of rivalry towards [[Sophie]], who’s always been somewhat negative towards him.
Annabel Milyak-Zaborski (Anna)

“I left my country to get away from all this weirdness!”
Anna’s difficulties at home made her a pretty good candidate for her school’s overseas placement program. She pulled strings and made it happen against the wishes of her family. From a privileged background, her education has been extensive. Privately tutored in classical music, art, dance and various languages, she’s multi-lingual, creative and one of her school’s greatest achievers.
Anna has a shady past and unusual relationship with her family and their staff. She wants nothing more than to distance herself from them and their activities.
Family: Originally Anna said her parents died it a series of accidents ([[CMO4]]). It seems she was lying, and recent events suggest they want her back home. ([[CMO72]] & [[CMO74]]) She considers [[Gogo]] family as he’s always been by her side. ([[CMO67]])
Friends: Anna has quickly forged friendships with [[Francis]] and [[Sid]]. She is particularly close to Francis, inviting him to stay at her house and talking all night. ([[CMO67]])
Sidney Andrews (Sid)

“I can fix everything except MY LIFE.”
Offered positions in schools for gifted pupils, Sid rejected them to stay with friends, notably Francis. Always one step ahead of the game, but can seem a little out of touch with reality. Scruffy (but consistent) in appearance, people tend to give Sid a lot of space for seeming a little bit creepy.
His sense of humour is dark and obscure but he’s very loyal and supportive of the people he cares about, verging on being selfless.
Family: Sid’s father is a successful businessman. His mother is an air hostess. He has a younger sister, [[Ellie]] who he gets on well with despite her being a bit of a nuisance. Sid’s parents are unreliable in every way except financial support. They are always travelling, leaving Sid and Ellie to fend for themselves.
Friends: [[Francis]] has been Sid’s best friend since early childhood. Sid’s easy-going nature means he tends to get on well with everyone when they’ll give him the time.
Sophie Amber Smith
Age: 20 Height: 5’6” Eyes: Deep Blue Sign: Leo Debut: CMO21
“… What are you looking at?”
Dresses in a provocative, extroverted dark/goth way and runs an amateur modelling site. Misunderstood by most who assume she’s something she isn’t. Sophie is two years older than Francis. She managed to cram her higher education into a single year, and has since jumped from job to job, finally settling as a part time librarian. The Andrews family has always trusted her to babysit Ellie. She’s quite cutting and hateful at the best of times and loves little more than a good argument.
Somewhat aloof.. Seems to be off in her own little world most of the time. Nobody really gets what she’s about, and she doesn’t make any effort to explain.
Family: Her father left while her mother was pregnant. Sophie isn’t interested in tracking him down. Her mother is an overburdened social worker and never had much time for her despite good intentions.
Friends: [[Melody]] is her closest friend. Sophie doesn’t make friends easily but gets on fine with the gang. [[Ellie]] brings out her maternal side and she’s actually quite protective and mushy around her.
Melody Shazia
Age: 18 Height: 5’2”

Melody is very active and works in her parents health food store as well as a local video & game store. She grew up going to environmental, human and animal rights campaigns, and believes strongly in the difference a single person can make. Left school at 16 to start afresh, thinks experience of the world is more important than academic qualifications.
Bubbly in personality, and with big ideas. Unfortunately somewhat lacking in common sense, but she makes up for it in enthusiasm. Everyone loves Melody!
Family: Her parents are very close. The whole family is very openly emotional. They work together in their store as well as campaigning together. Her parents have been arrested on multiple occasions at protests. She keeps pet rats.
Friends: Had a two year relationship with [[Francis]] from the ages 15-17, but broke it off after a complicated and messy chain of events. She’s good friends with the gang but has never understood [[Sid]].
Gogo “God” Godosaur

“Say hello to your supreme ruler!”
His exact origin is currently unknown, and everything he says may be a load of rubbish. He claims to be a god. When pink fire-breathing dinosaurs start telling you things, you don’t question it. His affection and loyalty towards Anna is obvious, and he sticks by her side through thick and thin.
He has a history with Anna’s family and Dr Lexima. Anna has been his best friend her entire life.
Family: Unknown. [[Anna]] has been his only family for 18 years. [[CMO67]]
Eleanor “Ellie” Andrews

A typical happy eight year old. She’s quite bossy, hyperactive and loud. Ellie has a very short attention span but is highly determined. She’s been known to have tantrums if she doesn’t get her way. Despite her more immature traits she’s very affectionate and loyal. She plays up for Sid’s friends, but usually feels out of her depth.
Family Ellie’s father is a successful businessman. Her mother is an air hostess. Sid is her older brother, who she looks up to. Ellie’s parents are unreliable in every way except financial support. They are always travelling, leaving Sid and Ellie to fend for themselves. On the few occasions that her father passes through he’s usually too occupied with business matters to pay attention to Ellie. [[CMO56]]

A mysterious scientist and servant of Anna’s family. His motives and allegiances are unknown. He seems to have Anna’s best interests at heart but is rarely trusted by the other characters. Possesses inhuman strength, speed and skills. Has influence over the undead and seems to know a great deal about the occult and paranormal elements at work.
Fiorina “Fifi” Adarna

A confident but absent minded young woman. Social and a serious go-getter. Early on has a job as a police administrator. Later works for Lexima and other shady forces.
